Another month gone by and the changes just keep coming. You can see the wheels in his head turn and grow. Luckily, as he’s grown older he has only gotten more cheerful. We couldn’t ask for a more easy-going guy.
Month Five
Things Adrian Can Do:
- Make an even broader range of sounds
- Sit up with help
- Roll all around everywhere
- Stand with support
- Pass things from hand to hand
- Recognize his own name

Things Adrian Loves:
- Touching people’s faces
- Playing with hair
- Looking at himself and others in the mirror
- Being a part of the action
- His loopy rattle
- Crossing his ankles
- Watching Clarke and Norah walk around
- Reading
- Music – especially 60’s and 70’s and Disney musicals
Things Adrian Dislikes:
- Going down for a nap when overtired
- Being hungry
- Direct sunlight
- When something he was playing with is taken
This month brought his first taste of solid food. At first he wasn’t sure about it but by day three he was eating like a champ.
Our little guy is rolling around everywhere he wants to get to at the moment but we can tell it won’t be long before he’s crawling. He’ll get his legs up under him and look like he’s trying to scoot so we know it’s time to start baby-proofing the house.
Every morning when he wakes up, he greets us with a big smile and he can sit and entertain himself while Mommy and Daddy clean up or make dinner.
Our love for him grows and grows and we know month six will bring just as many milestones as month five did.
