Two days after his 9 month milestone Adrian started crawling. His month 10 has been an eventful one. His personality and sense of humor shines brighter and brighter.

This video captures one of the first times I saw Adrian crawling: of course he was going after a family photo (he loves walking around and looking at pictures).

Granna, Papa, and Mommy all took Adrian down to Disney World. We had a great time. He wasn’t particularly impressed with the parade or Mickey but our fun-loving guy still had a blast.

We had a strange 24 hours where Adrian was suddenly terrified of elevators and cried every time we got onto one, which, when you’re staying in a high rise condo is not optimal. As suddenly as the terror appeared, it disappeared and he was fine with them after the day.

Adrian laughs easily, rarely cries, and loves to make everything into a game. It’s very hard to get him to eat anything but the tried and true oatmeal and he’s completely lost interest in the bottle. He just doesn’t have time to stop playing for such nonsense as eating. His cousins, Adalyn and Hunter, and Sammy Maxwell are his current besties. He plays fantastically by himself and can entertain himself for long stretches of time. Seeing him discover new things and realize he can go to wherever his little army crawl can take him brings us so much joy.

He also had his first swimming lesson. Daddy got to take him to his first one while he was on break from work. Jury is still out on whether it’s something he likes or not. He didn’t cry but there wasn’t much smiling going on either. We will update as his lessons continue.
